Introducing the Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/60-TR
The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/60-Tr is a high-capacity solar charge controller designed for larger RV, van, marine, overland, and off-grid systems, delivering up to 60A of charging current for 12V, 24V, and 48V battery banks with automatic voltage detection, while 36V systems can be configured manually. It supports solar arrays up to 860W at 12V, 1720W at 24V, 2580W at 36V, and 3440W at 48V, with a 150V maximum PV open-circuit voltage and 145V operating maximum to accommodate larger series-connected solar arrays while maintaining efficient MPPT charging performance
Smart Battery Charging & System Monitoring
The SmartSolar MPPT 150/60-Tr uses multi-stage adaptive charging with eight pre-programmed charging algorithms and support for user-defined charging settings. This allows the controller to be configured for a wide range of compatible lead-acid and lithium battery systems according to battery manufacturer requirements.
Built-in Bluetooth connects directly to the VictronConnect app for system configuration, real-time monitoring, firmware updates, and charging adjustments from a compatible phone or tablet. A VE.Direct port provides wired communication with compatible Victron GX devices, PCs, and monitoring equipment.
The controller can also receive battery voltage and temperature information from compatible Victron equipment such as Smart Battery Sense through a VE.Smart Network, helping compensate for voltage loss and changing battery conditions.
