The Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart 24/12-30A (360W) Non-Isolated DC-DC Charger is designed to charge a 12V service battery from a 24V starter-battery or alternator system.
Built-in Bluetooth connectivity allows the Orion-Tr Smart to be monitored, configured, and updated through the VictronConnect app. Users can adjust charging parameters, review operating information, and configure settings such as the charging profile and engine shutdown detection directly from a compatible smartphone or tablet.
The Orion-Tr Smart 24/12-30A provides controlled DC-to-DC charging from a 24V starter or alternator system to a 12V service battery, with up to 30A of charging output. Its adaptive three-stage charging process moves through bulk, absorption, and float stages to efficiently recharge and maintain the connected battery.
Built-in engine shutdown detection allows the charger to recognize when the engine is no longer running and stop charging, helping prevent unwanted discharge of the starter battery.
