Starlink High Performance DC Power Conversion Kit (requires 48-56v)

UPDATE: We have upgraded our DC step up converter to a 480W step up converter that now supports up 12-48v input voltage. Customers had issues maintaining minimum required voltage with sagging voltage levels as batteries drew down, as a result we have upgraded the optional DC Step Down Converter in this listing to a larger unit that is more forgiving as voltage drops during battery de-charge. 

This high performance POE injector enables you to convert your Starlink High Performance Dish to run on DC power only eliminating the need for the Starlink Power Supply WITHOUT the need to cut your factory Starlink cable. Optionally you can elect to cut the cable to a custom length using the optional CAT-8 termination kit availble in this listing.

Kit Requires

• 48v-56v DC Power input. The unit will not function without either your own 48v DC power supply or the optional DC step up converter shown in the listing above. 
• Input side of the Step up converter requires 30A (for Starlink HP only) fused Power Input at 12v or 15A (for Starlink HP only) fused Power Input at 24V. Requires properly sized gauge input/output wire which will vary based on voltage and distance, typically 8-10 gauge on 12-24v input with a fused home run from house battery is required (possibly larger wire for longer runs, consult an electrician for proper wiring sizing on DC power systems). 

Optional Accessories

• Starlink to Ethernet Termination Kit: Optionally you can elect to cut your Starlink cable and terminate it with our optional CAT-8 Tool-Less termination kit which can come in handy if you wish to shorten the length of your Starlink cable or have fewer junction boxes in your installation. The optional CAT-8 termination kit allows you to cut the cord coming down from the Starlink HP dish and terminate it using the included ethernet termination kit. Specialty termination tools are not required, only a good pair of wire cutters/strippers. NOTE STARLINK CABLE USES CUSTOM COLORS. THE CORRECT COLOR PIN ORDER IS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS.

If you elect to use the optional Starlink to ethernet kit you will have to modify your Starlink factory cable which will void the warranty of the cable and may void the warranty of your Starlink HP dish if installed improperly. The kit includes a termination end for tool-less termination however you still must carefully terminate the cable in the proper order for the disk to function. We cannot assist you if you cut your cable and your dish is non functional as a result. We can ship you a replacement Starlink cable if necessary at a charge.
