This DC to DC 12-36v to 48v step up converter enables PoE on select Peplink devices that have PoE support. Step up converted supports up to 480 watts of output power making it ideal for converting the Starlink HP fixed mount dish to DC power (Starlink DC Power Kit required in addition to this step up converter). This DC to DC step up converter takes standard 12 or 24v (or 36 or 48v battery banks) power from RV house batteries and converts it to 48v.
Always check your device's input voltage to verify it will accept 48v input. Exceeding your device's max input voltage will damage the device and void your warranty. If you have questions please reach out to us for more information.
Power Input Disclaimer: This is a 480W step up converter and as such proper input voltage and wire gauge must be used to prevent an unsafe situation. As a general rule, the input side of a 480W device requires 40A Fused Power Input at 12v or 20A Fused Power Input at 24V for maximum output. When powering the Starlink HP dish a 30A fuse at 12v may be used or a 15A fuse at 24v. This device requires properly sized gauge input/output wire which will vary based on voltage and distance, typically 8-10 gauge on 12-24v input for Starlink HP Fixed mount with a fused home run from house battery is required (possibly larger wire for longer runs, consult an electrician for proper wiring sizing on DC power systems).

Had tried MMH's previous version of the step up converted and when my batteries were at 60% the unit would shut off. They upgraded me to this unit during troubleshooting and have been very happy. This powers our HP Starlink Fixed Mount dish with ease and doesnt break a sweat. I ran 10 guage wire from our battery and fused it at the battery source. The step up converter then has its own fuse as well to protect from over current and also comes with a spare 10a fuse and lugs for 8/10 gauge wire termination. Nice kit.
