I purchased the Trio speed mount and used the magnets and landing pads on my RV fiberglass roof. I needed to remove it to replace to cable with a shorter one and I needed to pry on one end to release.

I got these to attach my mini to multiple RV's using the VHB metal disks and the magnets on the mount. My issue is that its impossible to remove the mount from the RV roof without actually pulling the roof membrane from the top of the camper. The VHB disks are firmly mounted to the roof and the magnets stick great, but no mortal could pull the magnets from the roof without tearing the disks from the roof or the roof from the camper. The magnets are too strong. Each pad has 6 magnets in it and for this application thats just to many. Three or four would have been plenty. I had to remove the mount from the pads and then remove the magnet pads one at a time from the metal disks on the roof. Not exactly what I had in mind. So bottom line is, you dont have to worry that your Starlink will blow off your roof if held on by these magnets. If you want to easily remove the mount from the RV and move to another, or a vehicle, its going to take some work...
