We are offering these discounts while also being one of the only retailers with this modem in stock as a thank you to our loyal customers.

A true powerhouse for the mobile connectivity enthusiast or remote worker. The Peplink Pepwave Max Transit LTE-Advanced DUO "PrimeCare Edition" is Peplink's first CAT 12 Dual Modem Mobile Internet Solution designd for mobile use. This unit is a serious mobile router for users serious about staying connected. CAT-12 brings additional bandwidth and supported LTE bands as well as additional coverage options with Band 14 support (FirstNET band support). Primecare entitles the user to licensing for Speedfusion, an optional WAN bonding solution capable of utilizing a cloud server to virutally bond multiple cellular sims together into a unified internet connection. Speedfusion hosting is available to host yourself or Speedfusion Cloud is offered by Peplink at a monthly fee to enable this service.

The Transit Duo has a dual modem configuration allowing for two simultaneous cellular connections. This unit is capable of connecting to AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile as well as additional carriers globally.  With simultaneous dual-band wifi you can setup multiple networks for 2Ghz (range) and 5Ghz (speed) within your RV, Boat or Mobile Command Center to optimize and load balance your device connectivity.

The Transit also has an embedded wireless controller letting you add external wireless access points for even larger deployments. The Transit's integrated wireless controller manages additional access points from its central management console. Thanks to automatic failover switching and multiple SIM slots (4x) with multi-carrier support, you will always be connected while on the road using a single, easy to use device.

Dual Modem Device

The mobile router listed on this page is equipped with two embedded cellular modems. This will allow you to utilize two cellular connections at the same time, providing advanced traffic routing and load balancing capabilities as well as near-instant failover from one provider to another.  Internet traffic can be routed in a variety of ways using Peplink's proprietary Outbound Policy Management Algorithms.  Dual modem devices may be capable of utilizing SpeedFusion technology also known as "WAN bonding" which may require separate licensing. See SpeedFusion section below.

SpeedFusion Licensed

The device listed on this page is licensed for SpeedFusion access. SpeedFusion is Peplink's proprietary WAN bonding solution that can bond multiple internet connections together into a single, more resilient connection for added connection reliability. SpeedFusion capable devices create a VPN tunnel which allows multiple internet connections to act as a single connection. SpeedFusion supports WAN-Smoothing, a technology which helps to prevent packet-loss which is typically the cause for unstable internet connections. In order to utilize SpeedFusion you must either host your own SpeedFusion instance at a secondary location/datacenter, or utilize Peplink's SpeedFusion Cloud service which is available for an additional monthly subscription fee. This device includes 1TB of SpeedFusion cloud transfer at up to 100Mbps per second. For more information on SpeedFusion and SpeedFusion cloud please contact us below.

Roof Antenna Support

This mobile router comes with indoor antennas that provide 3db of cellular gain. Upgrading to an optional roof antenna can provide significant signal improvement by moving the cellular antenna outside, at higher elevation and provide you the benefit of an antenna with higher gain specifications. Roof antennas can be added now with a bundle discount by checking out our Internet Bundle Section, or at a later date based on your needs.

WiFi as WAN

This device supports Wifi-As-Wan meaning you can pick up public WiFi signals from hotspots, campgrounds, and other sources to rebroadcast them into your coach and use them as your local internet. The wireless antennas included with this modem will pick up these signals and rebroadcast them locally within your own WiFi network.

*Using public WiFi may be unreliable due to external environmental forces typically outside of customer's control and as such public WiFi is recommended to be used as a secondary backup connection.

This is a PrimeCare device. PrimeCare includes a factory replacement warranty, centralized cloud management, and SpeedFusion and SpeedFusion Hub licenses for WAN Bonding functionality. PrimeCare devices include 1 Year of PrimeCare with your purchase. Licensing PrimeCare beyond year one can be purchased now (options above). Basic functionality will remain if PrimeCare expires. Factory Warranty, InControl Cloud Management and SpeedFusion will stop functioning until the PrimeCare license is renewed.

FirstNet Ready

This device is FirstNet Ready! FirstNet is the nationwide public safety communications platform dedicated to America's first responders. Being built with AT&T, in public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority, FirstNet utilizes Band-14, which is reserved for public safety but is also being marketed as available to the public for additional bandwidth capacity. In testing Band-14 has been made available during non-emergency situations to the public to provide additional bandwidth and coverages to customers who have a modem that supports FirstNet's Band-14. Not all modems that support Band-14 are "FirstNet Certified" however they typically can connect to Band-14 in most areas. Information on FirstNet certifications can be found on Specification sheets located on the Documentation Tab. Additional information about FirstNet's use and technology can be found in this article from our friends at the RV Mobile Internet Resource Center.

Purchasing the Remote PreConfiguration and Q & A Training Session Was Worth the $99

I purchased the Ultimate Road Warrior bundle (Max Transit Duo with Parsec Husky roof antenna) plus I was convinced to add in the $99 class and remote config option… Even with a 38yr career in IT and InfoSec, I decided to pay for the class, not being familiar with PepWave / Peplink routers. Dave from MMH did a great job answering my pre-sales questions and getting me set up. The personalized Q & A session was great (it was myself and one other customer in this particular session - so we both were able to pick Dave’s brain about potential use issues), and I’m hoping for many years of good use out of my system before I need to upgrade. In addition to the bundle, I also went with an additional internal use WiFi access point since the paddle antennas on the back of the Transit Duo will be not used and the only WiFi antennas would’ve been outside up on the roof. So with the POE-enabled indoor Wireless AP One Mini unit I’ll have great WiFi coverage both up on top and inside my rig. I also bit the bullet and signed up for MMH’s B300 AT&T monthly $150 data plan for 300gb of data. We shall see. But so far, a good setup and configuration experience. Tom Rogers

Love it!

I was so worried about working on the road, but after finding this gem I was able to relax. Been using for a month and have had 0 issues with service or connectivity issues. In the beginning, while learning to use this, tech support was a definite blessing!
