Product Summary
The Epoch 24230A-H 24V 230Ah LiFePO4 Battery is a high-capacity heated Bluetooth lithium battery built for 24V deep-cycle power systems. With 5.89kWh of stored energy, a 200A continuous discharge rating, and a Group 8D footprint, it is designed for RV, marine, solar, backup, off-grid, and mobile energy applications.
This Essential Series battery includes internal low-temperature charging support, Bluetooth monitoring through the Epoch Li-Ion app, IP54 weather-resistant construction, and an advanced BMS that protects against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit, and temperature extremes.
For customers building a 24V mobile power system, this battery provides a strong lithium storage foundation that can pair with properly sized Victron charging, inverter, solar, and monitoring components. Multi-battery banks should be configured only according to the latest Epoch manual and support guidance.
Real-World Power Expectations
This battery is designed for deep-cycle 24V house power and auxiliary energy storage, not engine cranking unless Epoch confirms compatibility. It can support demanding mobile and off-grid loads when the full system is properly designed around battery capacity, inverter size, cable ampacity, fuse ratings, charger programming, operating temperature, and expected current draw.
The 300A rating is a short-duration 10-second peak only. Continuous loads should be designed around the 200A per-battery continuous discharge limit. Runtime will vary based on inverter efficiency, DC conversion losses, temperature, battery age, cable voltage drop, duty cycle, BMS limits, and the actual loads being powered.
