Our Popular Speed Demon Internet Bundle gets a facelift with our 5G variant of the popular bundle. The Speed Demon 5G has upgraded to the Nationwide 5G Capable 4G/CAT-20 modem under the hood of this highly capable mobile router. Now with a much faster processor and revised hardware specifications, you can take advantage of the latest nationwide 5G/4G LTE-Advanced technology and upgraded router throughput up from 400mbps to now 1GB performance thanks to the upgraded processor and memory. The Speed Demon 5G also has the latest WIFI 6 integrated technology. The Speed Demon 5G is a complete mobile connectivity internet solution designed for RV and mobile use. Our team of experts have taken the guesswork out of selecting components and built a complete solution for travelers who wish to stay connected, not worry about always rebooting or troubleshooting consumer-grade disposable equipment. Each bundle comes with a cellular router, a cellular/WiFi/GPS roof antenna, DC direct wire power kit, and optional cellular data plans. The Speed Demon 5G Bundle is equipped with the choice of the Peplink MAX BR1 Pro 5G/CAT-20 Mobile Router, or the Peplink B One 5G, capable of delivering 4Gbps of max download speed (real-world conditions will vary). This bundle is an excellent fit for those who want exceptional speed and performance from a single modem device with future-proofing as the 5G nationwide network expands.

The Speed Demon 5G Bundle includes a 7-in-1 roof antenna which will greatly improve cellular and WiFi signals to improve connectivity. Each roof antennas has 7 individual antennas (4 Cellular Antennas, 2 WiFi antennas, and 1 GPS) inside the compact roof housing. 4 cellular antennas allow the BR1 Pro 5G to utilize the latest Nationwide 5G and 4G LTE-Advanced Pro technology, including carrier aggregation and 4x4 MIMO communication technology. Support for Band 14 and Band 71 are also included (see below).  Multiple antenna options are available and have slight differences in installation and specifications. Additional information on antenna options is available below. In a hurry? You can get surfing right away before installing the roof antenna by utilizing the included interior antennas.

The MAX BR1 PRO 5G has two sim slots allowing you to select which sim/carrier is in use by the modem. The signal from your cellular connection is then re-broadcasted wirelessly inside your RV or vehicle using the unit's high-powered 802.11ax/ac/a/n WiFi antennas. You get powerful 2ghz (long-range) and 5ghz (high speed) wireless connectivity while also getting wired ethernet ports for your most demanding devices like VOIP phones or desktop computers/workstations.

Peplink's proprietary multi-wan technology allows this modem to utilize the onboard cellular LTE modem, a public WiFi hotspot (WiFi-as-WAN), or a secondary wired internet connection (Starlink, cable modem, DSL, etc.) as the source for Internet connectivity. The Pepwave MAX BR1 PRO 5G is capable of load balancing multiple internet connections across multiple devices and is easily managed within the web-based management dashboard.

ALL NEW 5G x62 Chipset

5G/Category 20 Modem

This mobile router is equipped with one or more 5G / Category 20 cellular modems with a maximum download speed of 4Gbps and a maximum upload speed of 700Mbps (typical speeds range from 10-350mbps depending on cellular network conditions and coverage). The category of the modem impacts the maximum upload and download speed of the device and what cellular bands or "channels" the device can connect to. Cellular bands act similarly to "channels" on television, each cellular provider broadcasts on specific bands. 5G modems include Bands specific to 5G service and also work on 4G Bands as well. 5G modems have the broadest Band support available today. This includes access to Band 14, and T-Mobile's Band 71 as well as 5G bands like n71 and n41 and more.  For a complete list of bands supported, click the documentation tab for detailed specifications.

Supports WiFi-as-WAN

This device supports WiFi-As-WAN, meaning you can pick up public WiFi signals from hotspots, campgrounds, and other sources to rebroadcast them into your coach and use them as your local internet. The wireless antennas included with this modem will pick up these signals and rebroadcast them locally within your own WiFi network.

*Using public WiFi may be unreliable due to external environmental forces typically outside of customer's control and as such public WiFi is recommended to be used as a secondary backup connection.

WiFi 6 Technology

WiFi 6 expands the WiFi band from 80 MHz to 160 MHz, doubling the channel width and creating a faster connection from your router to the device. With WiFi 6, you can enjoy 8K movies, large file downloads and uploads, and responsive smart home devices – all without buffering. WiFi 6 allows for speeds of up to 9.6 gigabits per second (Gbps), up from WiFi 5's 3.5 Gbps.

This means faster internal file transfers and less speed loss between the modem to your device.

No Ground Plane Required!

The antennas on this page do not require a ground plane, but adding one will typically improve performance if your installation will allow it. Ground planes are metal sheets of metal (typically aluminum or galvanized steel) that the antenna mounts on top of. For optimal performance a ground plane of a minimum of 16" in diameter is typically recommended. The ground plane does not need to be grounded or wired to the chassis ground of the vehicle, the metal sheet simply helps the cellular and WiFi signals bounce into the antenna optimizing performance. Ground planes are available in various sizes on our store including a flexible adhesive ground plane or a 16 inch aluminum ground plane. For more information on ground planes visit the Ground Plane Guide on Mobile Internet Resource Center.

Which Roof Antenna is Right for Me?

We have a variety of choices for roof antennas based on your particular installation need. In general, higher priced antennas have better performance and are future proofed for newer technology such as Nationwide 5G, making upgrades down the road easier. Higher performance antennas may be larger, so size and installation requirements is a consideration. We offer a variety of options for customers with unique installation requirements, mounting requirements, brand or budget preference. We have put together our 7-in-1 Antenna Comparison Chart to help aid in your decision as well as a video outlining some top choices. Still not sure? FirstNet Ready

This device is FirstNet Ready! FirstNet is the nationwide public safety communications platform dedicated to America's first responders. Being built with AT&T, in public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority, FirstNet utilizes Band-14, which is reserved for public safety but is also being marketed as available to the public for additional bandwidth capacity. In testing Band-14 has been made available during non-emergency situations to the public to provide additional bandwidth and coverages to customers who have a modem that supports FirstNet's Band-14. Not all modems that support Band-14 are "FirstNet Certified" however they typically can connect to Band-14 in most areas. Information on FirstNet certifications can be found on Specification sheets located on the Documentation Tab. Additional information about FirstNet's use and technology can be found in this article from our friends at the RV Mobile Internet Resource Center.

Band 71 Ready

This device supports Band 71. Band 71 is T-Mobile's rural cellular band that operates on 600mhz which provides significant increases in coverage on the T-Mobile network for customers traveling outside of urban areas. 5G ready devices that support Band 71 typically also support Band 71n which is the 5G band for T-Mobile. Note that not all devices are 5G devices so check the listing above but with or without 5G you will still achieve increased coverage on the T-Mobile network with any device that supports Band 71. For more information about Band 71, check out the Band 71 Guide from our friends at the Mobile Internet Resource Center

    Good kit, activation misssteps

Love this bundle; top quality gear and easy to install and set up using the videos and online support provided by MMH and MIRC. One star off because the activation process was confusing. The emails and "tickets" were not clear and I didn't receive an email with an activation link as called out in the instructions. Remedied quickly by tech support when I raised the issue.

    4 Pin Molex

I like this wireset, but the 4 Pin Molex separated within a few days. I connected the wires directly to my Peplink router and that connection has stayed solid. The 4 Pin Molex is my only complaint for this item.

Thanks for your feedback, Bill! I'm sorry to hear that the Molex connector separated like that (that's quite unusual). A member of our team will be reaching out to you shortly about sending you a replacement.

    Getting signal

I was expecting more capability from this antenna, but it could just be that cell signals in California are just that terrible. I've used this in Northern, CA, Central, CA and Southern, CA and I am constantly going to the Peplink router changing settings trying to get or keep a good signal. For use in CA, this is not currently meeting my needs and I'm thinking about switching to StarLink, if its even slightly better, then I'll chalk up this antenna to the cost of learning.

Thanks for your feedback, Bill. My best guess is that your issue stems from network congestion and not from the antennas ability to extend your range. There are some settings adjustments you can make to work around that problem. A member of our support team will be reaching out to you shortly to help you out with that.

    Great Bundle for us.

We are going to use this at home and on the road. Between Starlink and Roam Link we will be covered in areas with no open sky for Starlink.

    Great Antenna

This is my second Parsec Husky Pro and it is a great antenna! It definitely boosts cell signals and, when a decent wi-fi is available, will pick it up and boost it, too. Love that it has the T-Mobile band 71 as I switched from Verizon for better rural coverage when RVing!

    Parsec Husky 7-in-1 Antenna

Very happy with my purchase of the Parsec Husky antenna. Easy install on our RV roof and it has been working great with my Peplink router and T-Mobile SIM.
