Introducing the Victron Orion XS 12/12-50A DC-DC Battery Charger
The Victron Orion XS 12/12-50A is a configurable DC-DC battery charger designed to charge a 12V auxiliary or house battery from a 12V starter battery and alternator. With adjustable 1–50A charging, up to 98.5% efficiency, and support for conventional and smart alternators, it is built for RVs, vans, marine systems, and other dual-battery installations where controlled alternator charging is important.
The Orion XS provides up to 700W of continuous output at 40°C while maintaining a compact, high-efficiency design. Built-in Bluetooth with VictronConnect allows charging current, voltage, battery settings, and operating behavior to be configured and monitored directly from a compatible device.
The charger also supports configurable engine shutdown detection, adjustable power-supply operation, and parallel installation when additional charging capacity is required.
