Product Summary
The Victron MultiPlus-II 24/3000/70-50 120V is a professional-grade inverter/charger designed for 24V mobile and off-grid power systems. It combines a 3000VA pure sine wave inverter, 70A battery charger, and 50A transfer switch in one integrated Victron platform.
This standard 120V model is designed to provide 120V AC output from a compatible 24V battery system and is commonly used in properly designed 30A RV, van, marine, overland, and off-grid applications. For larger systems, multiple compatible MultiPlus-II units can be configured for expanded output, including split-phase designs when properly planned and installed.
As part of a larger Victron-based power ecosystem, the MultiPlus-II helps connect battery storage, shore or generator charging, inverter power, transfer switching, monitoring, and future expansion into one more capable mobile power system.
Important Model Note
This is the standard 120V MultiPlus-II model, not the 2x120V version. If you are replacing an existing inverter/charger or designing a 50A RV system, confirm whether your application calls for the standard 120V model or the separate 2x120V model before purchasing.
Real-World Power Expectations
As a single unit, this inverter/charger is best understood as a practical “one major appliance plus everyday background loads” power solution. In a properly sized system, it may typically support one larger AC load at a time along with smaller loads such as lights, fans, device chargers, TVs, routers, Starlink, computers, or a CPAP machine. Actual performance depends on battery capacity, wiring, installation, appliance draw, configuration, temperature, and what else is running at the same time.
For larger systems, Victron inverter/chargers can be used in expanded configurations when properly designed and configured. In those systems, total capability depends on the number of units, battery bank, AC layout, charging sources, and overall system design.
