Introducing The Victron RJ45 UTP Cable 3m (10ft)
The Victron RJ45 UTP Cable 3m (10ft), is a straight-through communication cable designed to connect compatible Victron power-system components using VE.Bus and VE.Can communication. It provides the wired link needed between supported inverter/chargers, GX monitoring devices, control panels, and configuration interfaces in RV, marine, off-grid, backup-power, and stationary energy installations.
Unlike a power cable, this RJ45 UTP cable carries communication between compatible Victron devices. The 3-meter length provides useful routing flexibility when equipment is installed in separate areas of an electrical cabinet, RV power bay, marine electrical compartment, or off-grid system.
VE.Bus and VE.Can System Connectivity
The Victron RJ45 UTP cable provides a straight-through communication connection for compatible VE.Bus equipment, including Victron inverter/chargers, Digital Multi Control, Inverter Control, and MK3-USB interfaces used for system monitoring, configuration, diagnostics, and control. It can also be used in supported VE.Can connections with compatible GX devices such as the Cerbo GX, making it a practical cable for integrating Victron components into a centralized monitoring and control system. Because Victron uses RJ45 connectors across multiple communication standards, always confirms the required interface before connecting equipment, as some managed batteries and third-party CAN-bus devices require dedicated VE.Can-to-CAN-bus cables.
At 3 meters, or approximately 10 feet, the cable provides flexible routing between equipment installed across cabinets, electrical compartments, navigation stations, or equipment bays. Its factory-terminated eight-conductor straight-through design helps reduce wiring and crimping errors while providing a clean, reliable communication link between supported Victron devices.
