It fit into the device perfectly, but when I tightened the bolts it cracked in several places. I was expecting a more solid product.
Very durable, well-made mount that fits nicely into my gen3 star link. My only complaint is that the screws used to tighten the mount against the top of the mast...
1) Require a hex key to screw in (phillips or flathead screws would have been nice)
2) Can be a nuisance to screw/unscrew at certain angles if the StarLink is attached
3) Exist at all... given the nice clamps that are used on the telescoping mast, one would think a similar solution could have been employed here
Works great! We just leave it in place, pull out our telescoping pole and suction cup mount to the RV when we've arrived at our destination.
