Secure USB-C Connectivity for Peplink Networking Hardware
The Peplink ACW-820 is a screw-locking USB-C to USB-C cable designed for use with compatible Peplink networking hardware. Its locking connector provides a more secure physical connection than a standard USB-C cable, making it well suited for mobile, commercial, fleet, RV, and field networking installations where equipment may be transported, repositioned, or regularly serviced.
Peplink documents the ACW-820 as a featured accessory for the Peplink 5G Dongle and includes the cable with the BR2 Micro. It can be used as a replacement for an original cable, kept as a deployment spare, or incorporated into supported Peplink installations requiring a locking USB-C connection.
Screw-Locking USB-C Connection
The ACW-820 features a screw-locking USB-C connector designed to remain securely attached to compatible Peplink hardware. This provides additional connection security in installations exposed to movement, cable management changes, transportation, or frequent equipment access
The locking design makes the ACW-820 particularly suitable for vehicle-based networks, mobile internet systems, field deployments, remote installations, and other environments where maintaining a secure physical connection is important.

The cable itself does not require configuration. Any setup, firmware, power, networking, or driver requirements are determined by the Peplink device and connected host equipment.
