The OMNI-402 is an ultra-wideband antenna, which covers all contemporary LTE operating frequencies with excellent balanced gain across all frequencies, while providing 2x2 MIMO capability from its vertically separated radiating elements, in the same radome. The design allows the antenna to have superior pattern control over the entire frequency range making the OMNI-402 a true high-performance omnidirectional MIMO antenna. 

Usable in all parts of the world, the OMNI-402 guarantees signal reception almost everywhere. Poynting Antennas achieves this through new antenna configuration using multiple dipoles and a unique (patented) feed network. The antenna is future proof as it covers the 450 MHz frequency which is in wider use for LTE worldwide.

The OMNI-402 has 2xSMA-Male connectors and 2 meters of included cable and a standard pole mount. SMA-Male to Female USA made quality cables in Low Loss and Ultra Low Loss configurations are available below under accessories.

Omni-Directional Antenna

This antenna is an omni-directional antenna. Omni-directional antennas are designed to pick up signals in a 360-degree pattern around the antenna and do not require that they be aimed or pointed at the cellular or WIFI broadcasting tower.  Omni-directional antennas offer a blend of performance and ease of use over directional antennas that may have higher performance and gain specifications.  Omni-directional antennas also perform well if a customer is utilizing multiple cellular or WIFI connections that may be broadcasting in different directions, for example if a customer has data plans from multiple cellular providers and cell towers are in different directions. Omni-directional antennas are the preferred style of antenna for mobile travelers and those who change their location and method of connecting to the internet frequently as they offer solid performance without the need to point the antenna. 

Directional antennas may be better suited than omni-directional antennas for customers with fixed locations such as rural home or business customers.

This device is FirstNet Ready! FirstNet is the nationwide public safety communications platform dedicated to America's first responders. Being built with AT&T, in public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority, FirstNet utilizes Band-14, which is reserved for public safety but is also being marketed as available to the public for additional bandwidth capacity. In testing Band-14 has been made available during non-emergency situations to the public to provide additional bandwidth and coverages to customers who have a modem that supports FirstNet's Band-14. Not all modems that support Band-14 are "FirstNet Certified" however they typically can connect to Band-14 in most areas.     2-4x faster speeds

    We love this antenna. We live in the middle of woods with trees completely surrounding our house. After temporarily installing the external antenna about 10 feet in the air, our upload and download speed is consistently 2 -4 times faster than it used to be. I expect the speed to increase even more once I install it more permanently at a higher elevation.

    Great MIMO Antenna

    I bought this on recommendation from Erik at MobileMustHave, after trying numerous other antennas. This antenna performs fantastic and is extremely well built since it is for the marine environment. For 2x2 MIMO Omni, there is no better antenna and for advice and service, there is no one better than MobileMustHave.

    Best Omni MIMO Antenna

    I have tried several different 2x2 MIMO antennas to boost my 8800L, as well as a Drive Reach booster. The Poynting outperforms all the MIMO antennas I've tried, and is often better than the booster. I would highly recommend this antenna for any weak signals!
