Gigabit USB-C PoE Splitter – 5V 2.4A

Power a compatible USB-C device and deliver a wired Gigabit Ethernet connection from a single PoE cable. This active PoE splitter separates power and network data into a 5V USB-C power lead and an RJ45 Ethernet connection.

It is a clean fit for MobileMustHave installations using the ToughDisplay. Because the ToughDisplay connects wirelessly, the splitter’s Gigabit Ethernet connection can remain available for a downstream wired device, helping reduce cable runs and simplify compact RV, van, marine, overland, and mobile workspace installations.

The splitter provides up to 5V/2.4A, (up to 12 watts), and supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet. It is intended for smaller USB-C devices that operate within the available power limit.

Connect the PoE input to a compatible IEEE 802.3af/at PoE switch or injector. The USB-C lead powers the connected device, while the RJ45 port provides a wired network connection.

When used with the wireless ToughDisplay, the RJ45 connection may be used for another downstream Ethernet device. The downstream device must still be connected and configured appropriately for the network.

The powered USB-C device must accept 5V input and remain within the splitter’s 2.4A/12W output limit. This splitter is not intended for devices requiring USB Power Delivery negotiation, higher USB-C voltages, or more than 12 watts.
