Peplink MAX Orbit 4: Enterprise Multi-Orbit Router for Scalable Satellite Bonding
The Peplink MAX Orbit 4 is a rugged enterprise multi-orbit router built for organizations that need scalable satellite bonding, reliable failover, and centralized WAN management across remote or mobile deployments. Designed for demanding business connectivity, the MAX Orbit 4 allows IT teams to combine multiple satellite, 5G, wired, and USB WAN connections into a more resilient network.
For enterprise IT buyers supporting Starlink, OneWeb, Iridium, cellular, fiber, or hybrid WAN environments, the MAX Orbit 4 provides the flexibility needed to improve uptime, increase available bandwidth, and simplify management across distributed locations.
Built for Multi-Terminal Satellite Bonding
The MAX Orbit 4 is designed for environments where one satellite connection is not enough. With four 1G Orbit ports, dual 2.5G WAN/LAN ports, and USB 3.0 connectivity, this router gives organizations more options for building redundant, high-availability WAN deployments.
Using Peplink SpeedFusion technology, the MAX Orbit 4 supports Hot Failover, Smoothing, Bandwidth Bonding, and SpeedFusion Boost. These technologies help protect critical traffic from satellite handovers, obstructions, poor weather, congestion, or individual link instability. The result is a smoother, more dependable connection for business applications, remote teams, and mission-critical operations.
Manage Satellite, Cellular, and WAN Connections from One Platform
The Peplink MAX Orbit 4 is designed to work with Peplink InControl for centralized cloud-based management. Instead of managing each satellite or WAN provider separately, IT teams can monitor and control supported connections through a unified management interface.
This helps reduce operational complexity for enterprise networks, MSP-managed deployments, public safety fleets, remote infrastructure, and multi-site organizations. Administrators can monitor WAN status, review performance, troubleshoot issues, and make changes without being physically present at the deployment site.
Hybrid 5G, Satellite, and Wired WAN Connectivity
The MAX Orbit 4 is ideal for hybrid WAN environments that combine satellite internet, 5G fixed wireless access, and existing wired infrastructure. By blending multiple connection types, organizations can balance cost, performance, and reliability while reducing dependence on a single provider.
This makes the MAX Orbit 4 a strong option for warehouses, temporary offices, energy sites, mining operations, remote retail locations, mobile command centers, and critical infrastructure backup. It can also be used to back up fiber connections for sites where downtime is costly or unacceptable.
Rugged Hardware for Field and Mobile Deployments
Built for deployment beyond the server room, the MAX Orbit 4 features rugged hardware, integrated GPS support, and a vibration-tolerant design. It is suited for mobile command units, vehicles, maritime applications, field operations, industrial environments, and remote locations.
The MAX Orbit 4 supports an operating temperature range of -40°F to 149°F, making it a reliable choice for harsh environments where standard networking equipment may not be sufficient.
Enterprise-Ready Performance and Expandability
The MAX Orbit 4 delivers up to 1 Gbps router throughput and is recommended for 1–150 users. It includes Wi-Fi 6 2x2 MU-MIMO, Wi-Fi WAN and/or AP functionality, Docker edge computing with 8GB internal storage, and external storage support through USB.
For secure networking, the MAX Orbit 4 supports SpeedFusion VPN throughput up to 400 Mbps with no encryption and up to 200 Mbps with 256-bit AES encryption. VPN peer options include 2, 5, 10, or 20 peers depending on subscription and licensing.
Ideal Applications
The Peplink MAX Orbit 4 is an excellent fit for enterprise IT teams that need reliable, scalable connectivity for:
- Multi-terminal Starlink and satellite bonding
- Remote branch offices and distributed business locations
- Mobile command centers and public safety vehicles
- Maritime, transportation, and rail connectivity
- Warehouses, logistics hubs, and industrial operations
- Energy, mining, agriculture, and utility sites
- Fiber backup for critical business infrastructure
- 5G plus satellite failover deployments
- MSP-managed remote network environments
Scalable Multi-Orbit Connectivity for Enterprise Networks
The Peplink MAX Orbit 4 gives enterprise IT teams a practical way to build more resilient WAN connectivity using satellite, cellular, wired, and USB WAN connections. With SpeedFusion bonding, InControl cloud management, rugged hardware, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and flexible WAN options, MAX Orbit 4 is built for organizations that need business-grade internet connectivity in places where downtime is not an option.
