Blu Tech Pressure Regulator
The inside of the Pressure Regulator is filled with high-class silicone oil. The gauge is filled with oil to prevent water intrusion and rust, creating a stronger seal, and prolong the service life. The Pressure Regulator is lead-free and treated by hot casting and double plating process technology, which inhibits bacterial growth.
The Blu Tech Quick Connect Pressure Regulator is designed with ¾” thread (garden hose threading), compatible with all standard USA water spickets. The Dual-Layer inlet screened filter helps filter sediment to prevent clogs and valve damage, bringing you continuous water flow which is about 2-4 gallons per minute.
The Pressure Regulator adjusts Water Pressure from 0-160 PSI. Different campsites have different water pressures and are suitable for different conditions. Adjust the screw on top of the regulator to select your desired pressure setting.
Blu Technology recommends setting your water pressure at around 40-60PSI. Turn clockwise to increase pressure, turn counterclockwise to decrease pressure. The Blu Tech Quick Connect Pressure Regulator is preset at 45 PSI.
I ordered the blu tech system with 3 stage water filter and the softener. Whole system about 1 grand. I received everything in a timely manner except the water regulator and the Y connector , they came about a month later. Everything worked great for about 3 months, then we sprung a leak . The regulator and system has not been used In weather below 42 degrees. Mobile must have said that they warranty it for 30 days and Blu tech said it must have been caused by pressure from frozen or near freezing temperatures. To me it looks like a manufactured defect. The regulator is less than 4 months old. Here is a sticker with a 2 year warranty.
Love the new Pressure Regulator. I paid a little more than I used to but this is much heavier, seems to be very accurate and is stainless steel. No more burnishing brass. The real review should happen after six months or so. And again at a year.
We have the full suite of Blu Tech products from water filters to water softener and now the pressure regulator. Love their products but the company really lacks in instructions on how to use them. Regulator arrived with no instructions and no videos online from them on its use.
