Introducing the Blu Technology CHI Filter

The Blu Technology CHI Filter is a portable RV water treatment system designed for areas where elevated levels of chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, and iron can exceed what a standard water filtration system can effectively address. These contaminants can contribute to poor water taste and odor, sulfur smells, discoloration, and staining throughout an RV water system.

Designed specifically for RV travelers, the CHI Filter uses specialized treatment media to reduce these difficult water conditions while maintaining a compact, portable form factor. When combined with a Blu Technology water filtration system and water softener, it creates a more complete mobile water treatment setup modeled after advanced residential systems but adapted for RV use.

Targeted Treatment for Tough RV Water Conditions

The CHI Filter uses a high-manganese-dioxide media to help oxidize and reduce iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide. This process helps address both red and clear-water iron while reducing the staining that iron and manganese can cause in sinks, showers, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.

A separate granular activated carbon media helps reduce chlorine and other chemicals that can negatively affect the taste and smell of campground water. Together, these media provide a dedicated treatment stage for RVers who regularly encounter water sources with noticeable metallic content, sulfur odor, or strong chlorine levels.

The system does not rely on disposable filter cartridges for this treatment process and offers a rated capacity of up to 15,000 gallons before recharge.

Compact, High-Flow Design for RV Use

The CHI Filter is pre-assembled and uses a 3/4-inch high-flow port for straightforward integration into compatible RV water systems. At approximately 8" × 8" × 18" and 18.5 lb, the system is compact enough for travelers who need specialty water treatment without dedicating excessive storage space.

Its stainless-steel tank is built for repeated mobile use and helps resist corrosion, while stainless-steel garden hose quick connects simplify connection to compatible RV water equipment.

The CHI Filter can be used as a standalone specialty treatment stage or connected in series with a Blu Technology RV water filtration system and water softener when broader filtration and conditioning are required
