It is great to have a reliable water meter. Do read the manual. It points out that the meter should be positioned a certain way in the water flow diagram. Basically, have it below the spigot (input) and the trailer (output). Do not let the meter sit above these two points as it will not record correctly.
It is very well built
I had my doubts whether this flow meter was worth the price, but I was wrong. This meter is a beast. Stainless steel! It's heavy and very well constructed. Due to its weight, I connected the meter at the RV park water faucet instead of in the wet bay. I was afraid the weight of the meter might break the wet bay's plastic fittings. I have a couple of cheap, plastic water meters. They work OK -- when they work. The Blu Tech meter works great and is a pleasure to use. Highly recommend.
