BLEACHFREE is an EPA approved NSF certified sanitation powder for sanitizing your RV & marine plumbing systems, holding tanks and water softener systems. It is specially designed to kill 99.99% of harmful bacteria and maintain the quality and performance of water treatment systems without chlorine, oxidizers or acids that can harm system equipment, parts and resin. Ditch the bleach commonly used for sanitizing which can be extremely harmful to your PEX plumbing for a plumbing safe alternative and avoid the taste and smell of bleach.

Water filters are not enough as that filtered water could be entering into your RV's plumbing system that may have bacteria and other harmful substances easily removed with proper sanitizing.

Each BLEACHFREE packet contains two (2x) packets of .5oz sanitizing powder.

  • 2 packets is required to clean your water hoses, softener and RV plumbing system
  • 2 additional packets are required to clean your fresh water tank (up to 80 gallons)

Whats Wrong with Bleach?

Bleach while effective at killing bacteria at low cost can have a long lasting cost and impact not only to your RV plumbing systems but also to the environment. Bleach is highly corrosive and can potentially lead to leaks and structural issues over time with the pluming systems and tanks in your RV and vessel. Additionally PEX material commonly used in plumbing, are sensitive to certain chemicals, including bleach, which can cause them to degrade over time.

Residue buildup: Bleach can leave behind a residue in the tank, which can build up over time and affect the quality of the water or other liquids stored in the tank. This residue can also be difficult to remove and may require additional cleaning and maintenance to prevent contamination.

Health risks: Bleach is a strong chemical that can be harmful if ingested or inhaled. If bleach is used improperly in a PEX plumbing system or tank, there is a risk of the chemical contaminating the water supply and posing a health hazard to those who come into contact with it.

Environmental impact: Bleach is a chemical that can have negative effects on the environment if it is not properly disposed of. If bleach is used in a PEX plumbing system and then enters the environment through wastewater, it can potentially harm aquatic life and ecosystems.
