Manufactured out of 100% stainless steel 304 to inhibit bacterial growth, this 90-degree adapter is designed with 3/4" thread and is compatible with all standard US water spigots. The dual-layer screened filter on the inlet aide helps filter sediment to prevent clogs or damage, and comes with a quick connect compatible with all Blu Tech stainless steel hoses.
Stainless steel 304 (or 18% chromium/8% nickel) is approved by the FDA, ANSI, and NSF as safe for drinking water. The gaskets are also NSF approved silicon for an added layer of safety.
Very solidly built adapter and I'm liking the quick connect for pulling into an overnight RV spot and hooking up in seconds. I highly recommend it.

When I received this adapter it leaked. I even tried just the quick disconnect and it leaked. I am going to have to use teflon tape to see if this fixes the issue. I did find that the rubber ring was not seating against the wall of the right angle piece. So I think this is the issue and the teflon tape will keep it from leaking.
Thanks for taking the time to provide us with some feedback on the adapter. We reached out to Blu Tech directly to get some feedback on the issue that you've been experiencing, and they mentioned that the rubber ring (washer) shouldn't be causing the adapter to leak. They also said that the 90-degree adapters aren't fully tightened before being packaged and that tightening them should fix the issue.

I replaced to standard 90 degree elbow with this one because of the quick connect function. Was not expecting the 90 degree elbow to have such a large inside diameter. Definite upgrade over the cheaper piece I was using.
