Victron Orion 24/12-80 Non-Isolated DC-DC Converter
The Victron Orion 24/12-80 is a high-power, non-isolated DC-DC converter designed to step a 24V DC system down to 12V DC output. It is commonly used in mobile, marine, overland, and off-grid systems where a 24V battery or power architecture needs to support 12V loads or accessory circuits.
This model provides 80A continuous output and adjustable 10–15V output, with a factory setting of 13.2V. It also includes remote on/off control and temperature-controlled fan-assisted cooling for higher-output applications.
The Orion 24/12-80 can also be connected in parallel with compatible units to increase available output current when the system is properly designed. As part of a complete Victron-based mobile power ecosystem, it helps bridge the gap between higher-voltage system architecture and everyday 12V equipment.
This converter is best used when a 24V system needs to reliably supply 12V DC loads or maintain a 12V accessory battery from a 24V source.
