Starlink Gen 3 and Mini cables are an improvement over previous generations but just like with any ethernet cable, they are susceptible to failure if they become dirty or are exposed to mosture or corrosives. These dust and water caps fit snuggly on your Starlink cable ends securing themselves in place using the weatherproof boot of the cable. The included weather resistant lanyard allows the dust cap to be connected to the cable when and when not in use for easy retreval.
