Introducing the Pepwave 5G Adapter

The Peplink 5G Adapter is purpose-built to deliver high-speed 5G connectivity as a wired WAN source for existing network infrastructure. Rather than replacing your router, the 5G Adapter provides a dedicated cellular connection with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet handoff, allowing it to integrate with enterprise routers, multi-WAN systems, firewalls, mobile networks, and other equipment that needs a fast 5G Ethernet connection.

Powered by a single 5G modem capable of theoretical speeds up to 3.4 Gbps down and 550 Mbps up, the adapter supports 5G NSA and SA Sub-6 GHz connectivity with LTE Cat 19 fallback. Its rugged hardware, flexible SIM options, external antenna connections, and remote management capabilities make it well suited for business, mobile, industrial, IoT, and failover deployments.

High-Speed 5G for Your Existing Network

The Peplink 5G Adapter is designed to add cellular connectivity without requiring you to replace the router or network platform you already use. Connect its 2.5GbE RJ45 port to an available WAN interface and the adapter provides a dedicated cellular uplink that can be incorporated into existing routing, failover, load balancing, or SD-WAN configurations.

This makes it a strong option for Peplink deployments using SpeedFusion as well as networks built around other enterprise routers and firewalls. It can serve as a primary cellular WAN, secondary failover connection, or additional WAN source in networks where cellular redundancy and flexibility are important.

Dual Nano-SIM slots provide physical carrier flexibility, while Peplink eSIM, BYO eSIM with up to two profiles, RemoteSIM from a SIM Injector, and FusionSIM provide additional options for managing cellular service.

Peplink PrimeCare & PrimeCare+

The Peplink 5G Adapter includes one year of PrimeCare coverage, with additional PrimeCare and PrimeCare+ coverage available in 1-year, 2-year, and 4-year plans.

PrimeCare provides the ongoing support and service coverage needed to keep the adapter maintained and remotely manageable, including access to Peplink cloud-management services, firmware updates, technical support, and continued hardware warranty coverage while the subscription remains active.

PrimeCare+ includes the core PrimeCare benefits while adding enhanced hardware protection for deployments where minimizing downtime is especially important. Depending on the selected coverage plan, PrimeCare+ can provide enhanced replacement and support benefits beyond standard PrimeCare.
