    This product has made it so easy to take care of keeping our water soft. Easy to use. Uses lest salt and more importantly less water.

    Game changer

    I upgraded my softener tank to using the Smart Cap. I will recommend that anyone doing so also purchase the salt cartridge. It does make the recharge process easier and faster.

    Great upgrade

    I have tried adding salt to my filter canister in the past but it failed to dissolve and enter the softener. As a result, I fought this purchase thinking it was a waste of money. I finally broke down and made the purchase and, after my first use, accepted how great this item is. Adding salt directly to the softener was a real hassle because of how difficult it was to get the cap threaded back into the canister without stripping the threads. This item eliminated the need for me to ever struggle with that again. Bottom line, this is an absolute necessity to make this system work to its fullest capacity.
