Introducing the Parsec Falcon 2x2 MIMO Cellular Antenna

The Parsec Falcon Series antenna is a compact 2x2 MIMO omnidirectional cellular antenna designed to improve connectivity for compatible mobile routers and hotspots without requiring a permanent rooftop installation. Covering 617 MHz to 6 GHz, the Falcon supports a broad range of cellular frequencies while providing up to 4 dB peak gain, approximately twice the peak gain of traditional paddle-style antennas.

Its lightweight panel design supports window, desktop, surface, and suction-cup placement, making it especially useful for RV, marine, travel, and temporary mobile internet installations. Although the panel-style housing may appear directional, the Falcon is omnidirectional, so it does not need to be precisely aimed toward a cellular tower during normal use.

2x2 MIMO Performance with Flexible Placement

The Falcon uses a 2x2 MIMO configuration with two 6-foot antenna leads, making it well suited for compatible CAT 6 and single-modem CAT 6/12 applications. The external antenna design allows the antenna to be positioned closer to a window or another favorable signal location while the router or hotspot remains installed where it is convenient to access.

For Peplink applications, the Falcon supports mobile routers equipped with two cellular antenna ports. Routers or modems with four cellular antenna ports may also use the Falcon when the device is configured to operate in a two-antenna mode.

Its flexible mounting design makes deployment straightforward. The antenna can sit on a desk or other surface, be positioned near a window, or attach directly to a window using the suction-cup mounting option. This gives RV owners, travelers, marine users, and remote workers a practical way to deploy an external cellular antenna without a complex permanent installation.

Connector and Device Options

SMA Male Connectors (Peplink)
Designed for compatible Peplink, Cradlepoint, and other mobile routers using SMA cellular antenna connections. This configuration includes two 6-foot antenna leads terminated with SMA male connectors.

SMA Female to TS9 Adapters
Designed for compatible mobile hotspots using TS9 antenna ports. The Falcon retains its two SMA male antenna leads and includes two SMA female-to-TS9 adapter connectors for connecting the antenna to supported hotspot devices. This configuration does not include a Nighthawk protective case.

TS9 Connectors (Hotspots Including Netgear Nighthawk)
Designed for compatible mobile hotspots, including the NETGEAR Nighthawk M1, M5, and M6. This configuration includes the required SMA female-to-TS9 adapters plus a protective case for supported Nighthawk hotspots, allowing the hotspot and antenna setup to be used in wall or window-mounted applications. Hotspot not included.

Core Functions

  • 2x2 MIMO Cellular Connectivity
  • 617 MHz to 6 GHz Coverage
  • 4 dB Peak Gain
  • Omnidirectional
  • Flexible Mounting Options

The Parsec Falcon combines broad cellular frequency coverage, 2x2 MIMO performance, flexible placement, and multiple connector configurations in one compact antenna platform. Whether paired with a Peplink router or a compatible mobile hotspot, the Falcon provides a practical external antenna option for RVs, marine installations, remote work setups, travel, and other mobile connectivity applications.

Omni-Directional Antenna

This antenna is an omni-directional antenna. Omni-directional antennas are designed to pick up signals in a 360-degree pattern around the antenna and do not require that they be aimed or pointed at the cellular or WIFI broadcasting tower.  Omni-directional antennas offer a blend of performance and ease of use over directional antennas that may have higher performance and gain specifications.  Omni-directional antennas also perform well if a customer is utilizing multiple cellular or WIFI connections that may be broadcasting in different directions, for example if a customer has data plans from multiple cellular providers and cell towers are in different directions. Omni-directional antennas are the preferred style of antenna for mobile travelers and those who change their location and method of connecting to the internet frequently as they offer solid performance without the need to point the antenna.

Directional antennas may be better suited than omni-directional antennas for customers with fixed locations such as rural home or business customers.

FirstNet Ready

This device is FirstNet Ready! FirstNet is the nationwide public safety communications platform dedicated to America's first responders. Being built with AT&T, in public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority, FirstNet utilizes Band-14, which is reserved for public safety but is also being marketed as available to the public for additional bandwidth capacity. In testing Band-14 has been made available during non-emergency situations to the public to provide additional bandwidth and coverages to customers who have a modem that supports FirstNet's Band-14. Not all modems that support Band-14 are "FirstNet Certified" however they typically can connect to Band-14 in most areas. Information on FirstNet certifications can be found on Specification sheets located on the Documentation Tab. Additional information about FirstNet's use and technology can be found in this article from our friends at the RV Mobile Internet Resource Center.

Band 71 Ready

This device supports Band 71. Band 71 is T-Mobile's rural cellular band that operates on 600mhz which provides significant increases in coverage on the T-Mobile network for customers traveling outside of urban areas. 5G ready devices that support Band 71 typically also support Band 71n which is the 5G band for T-Mobile. Note that not all devices are 5G devices so check the listing above but with or without 5G you will still achieve increased coverage on the T-Mobile network with any device that supports Band 71. For more information about Band 71, check out the Band 71 Guide from our friends at the Mobile Internet Resource Center.

Works great, but the TS9 version comes with very poor adapters

It's not a problem with the antenna, but if you order the TS9 version, you won't get a version where the cables are terminated to TS9 - which is implied. I ordered the TS9 version, and I got delivered a version that has SMA terminations with SMA to TS9 adapters. It came with the modem mount/case, so I know I wasn't shipped the wrong version. Additionally, the adapters have a VERY long TS9 connector. For my application, they wouldn't even go halfway and would fall out frequently. I've had to purchase other adapters due to this, which negates the increased surcharge for the TS9 version.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback on The Falcon's TS9 adapters. After reviewing your feedback, we realized that the Falcon's listing page had outdated information. While the TS9 adapters on an older model of the Falcon were compatible with many popular hotspots, the new version's TS9 adapters are only compatible with the Netgear Nighthawk. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you, but we can offer you an easy fix: https://mobilemusthave.com/products/ts-9-to-sma-antenna-cable-adapter-2x-for-mifi-hotspot-external-antenna?_pos=2&_sid=bbbb38fd3&_ss=r
These adapters are much shorter, and should (actually) fit most hotspot devices. I'll have someone reach out to you shortly to get a good shipping address from you, so we can send a pair your way.

    Best investment ever!

This antenna works great! I was skeptical that it would increase the download and upload speed by much but it was a huge difference! Here's the before and after:

    Pepwave fins only:

    Download: 5.04 mb/s

    Upload: 8:58 mb/s

    Parsec Antenna:

    Download: 20.41 mb/s

    Upload: 29:37 mb/s
