An aluminum, flexible, adhesive back 20x20 ground plane designed by the cellular antenna experts at Parsec in Texas. This 20x20 sheet of thin aluminum is backed with ultra strong adhesive suitable for outdoor installations on smooth surfaces. Thin enough to be cut with standard scissors but thick enough to provide exceptional ground plane performance, this ground plane can be cut to a custom size or used in its full size for maximum signal improvement and performance of your roof antenna. While many roof antennas do not require ground planes, just about all of them will benefit if one is installed beneth the antenna. A ground plane acts as a reflector below the antenna to help bounce cellular signals into the antenna improving antenna performance. Easy to trim and install
Ground plane feels like thick but soft foil with adhesive backing. Easy to cut.
I was initially worried about the thickness of this sheet, but it held up well and was super easy to size for my application. Adhesive also worked extremely well although as an added precaution I did lock down the boarders with aluminum strip boarders.
