The Husky PRO Series 7-in-1 Antenna got its name in the police ambulance and first responder market by providing exceptional performance across a wide variety of spectrums when performance counts. The Parsec Husky Series antennas are high-performance, IP67-rated, 5G Capable (600 MHz – 6 GHz) antennas. This antenna variant features 4 cellular antennas, 2 wireless antennas, and 1 GPS antenna making it a perfect match for our Pepwave Dual CAT 6, 12, and Single CAT 18 and CAT 20 mobile routers. This antenna is especially good for use with T-Mobile customers interested in receiving band 71 which operates at 600mhz which this antenna supports as well as AT&T customers who are looking for FirstNET Band 14 support. The Parsec Husky antenna is 10.75 inches in diameter with a height profile of approximately 2.25 inches off the roof making it compact but also large enough to be a top performer with one of the highest gain ratings in the market. This antenna is available in multiple mounting configurations including a surface mount and magnet mount. An optional pole mount adapter is available for the surface mount variation as well. 

Ground planes are not required for this antenna to function properly making it ideal for fiberglass roof installations.

Ground Plane Optional

The antennas on this page do not require a ground plane, but adding one will typically improve performance if your installation will allow it. Ground planes are metal sheets of ferrous metal (typically aluminum or galvanized steel) that the antenna mounts on top of. For optimal performance a ground plane of a minimum of 16" in diameter is typically recommended. The ground plane does not need to be grounded or wired to the chassis ground of the vehicle, the metal sheet simply helps the cellular and WiFi signals bounce into the antenna optimizing performance. FirstNet Ready

This device is FirstNet Ready! FirstNet is the nationwide public safety communications platform dedicated to America's first responders. Being built with AT&T, in public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority, FirstNet utilizes Band-14, which is reserved for public safety but is also being marketed as available to the public for additional bandwidth capacity. In testing Band-14 has been made available during non-emergency situations to the public to provide additional bandwidth and coverages to customers who have a modem that supports FirstNet's Band-14. Not all modems that support Band-14 are "FirstNet Certified" however they typically can connect to Band-14 in most areas. Band 71 Ready

This device supports Band 71. Band 71 is T-Mobile's rural cellular band that operates on 600mhz which provides significant increases in coverage on the T-Mobile network for customers traveling outside of urban areas. 5G ready devices that support Band 71 typically also support Band 71n which is the 5G band for T-Mobile. Note that not all devices are 5G devices so check the listing above but with or without 5G you will still achieve increased coverage on the T-Mobile network with any device that supports Band 71. Great Recommendation for a Quality USA-manufactured Roof Antenna

I opted for the Parsec Husky at the recommendation of Dave on the MMH staff when I asked for “the best thing out there” for pairing with my Transit Duo…. Even though it’s a 4x4 antenna and the Transit Duo is actually TWO 2x2 antennas connected - the MMH folks advise you on how to connect it best to get the most optimal signal coverage with no blind spots. Erik (MMH Prop/CEO) even shared how he used a 12x12x6” electrical project box at Lowe’s or Home Depot on which he mounted the Husky on top to get above some signal obstacles on his own rig, so by watching his short video on that (presented at his Peplink Webinar in Dec 2021) I copied his design on my rig. Added the project box, spray painted it white to get rid of the **** gray color, and this box will allow me to add future wire glands to it, and run more cabling up to the roof to add a second 2x2 cellular antenna for another brand of router to have a roof antenna. And even though the Parsec has a ground plane built in, I added a 24” x 24” piece of thin galvanized metal underneath the box so if I do ever add that secondary antenna up there the ground plane is already there in case I needed it. Erik’s Peplink/PepWave - MMH webinar is really what brought me in as a customer of MobileMustHave. They need to do more of those sessions. I hope the Husky proves to be as good for me as it has in other customer reviews I’ve seen.

Good antenna but large and complex install

This is a good antenna and does it’s job. It works much better than the tiny antennas that come with peplink modems, but installing it on a boat has been a challenge: firstly the base requires a 2-inch diameter hole, which is a very hard job on a boat hardtop. The wire bundle is incredibly thick and heavy. I ended up installing the peplink max modem inside the hardtop, to avoid routing the wire bundle, much easier to bring power to the modem, plus the antenna is the irradiating component, anyway.

Magnet mount on sprinter van

The magnet mount is incredibly strong yet easy to position, and I already had a hole drilled through the roof with a box for solar cables so installation was simple. MMH recommends this in conjunction with the Max Transit Duo, which has been working well for me, but it's important to note that this antenna was designed to be used on a 4x4 MIMO connection, not two 2x2 MIMO and there will be some positionality as each antenna has ~180 coverage but weakens at the edges. If you're near one tower, you have the potential to have one band a lot stronger, but the other _will_ be weaker, and there can be noticeable changes if it is pointing "between" the two antennas. In an area with a lot of towers this will be less of an issue, but it's something "potentially" better than other 7-in-1 antennas with omni antennas inside. Support staff has ignored all questions I've had about this. :(

We have not observed any performance issues but agree the Husjy uses a partially directional element to achieve such high performance and in our testing it outperformed other omni elements even at the edges making it our top pick.
