We are working on a usage tracker that will be available via your customer account page. In the meantime, you can use the peplink reports and usage monitoring to track usage directly on your device.
1. Took too many days to get up and running, I should have ordered it sooner before our trip, and didn’t understand that I would have to have some kind of internet to load it. When we arrived at the campsite we had zero internet (zero phone service) so had to remove the peplink router and take to find enough internet to get the peplink up and running.
2. Despite having multi-carriers we usually did not have a good enough cell connection to watch ESPN etc without it buffering.
At this particular campground we will likely need to use Starlink in the future

I am very to sorry to hear about this experience you had with this product. However, I want to let you know that we have completely redesigned this data plan option and no additional internet connection is needed. You can now get a sim card that reaches out to any towers directly. I will have customer service reach out to you to make sure you are upgraded to the new plan.
I will admit I went into this with some doubt, but the first test was my home. I get 1 bar of signal with Verizon, and 0 service with ATT (the two sims I use in the Pepwave). I was quite surprised after installing the SIM and powering it on that I was now connected to T-Mobile and getting decent speeds. I've been to (4) campgrounds in the NH/MA/VT area, and each time, been connected and fine, all without going through the process of logging in to set each of the Verizon and ATT SIMs as primary to see who: could connect, which would be better. Thus far I haven't had a need to log into the device to override the carrier that was decided upon, and have cancelled both my ATT and Verizon SIMs.
I was watching a video when the local Tmobile was taken down for service. The video froze for maybe 15 seconds and was back. I checked my phone and saw I was offline (tower offline) but my router was still going. When I checked InConnect2, I found i was on Verizon. A few hours later, when I checked, back on TM. Fast, no effort on my part. Price is great, support has been excellent even when I called with questions about how RoamLink worked. Better than the support I had received from a provider I won't name, but starts with the letter after U and before W.
RoamLink works flawlessly in Central Florida. Two of us work from the RV. I'm on Teams meetings more than half the day. Streamed movies on the weekend, no problem. We love the service. We have a Peplink Max Transit Duo with just the one SIM.
We feel the decision to change to a single SIM card with major cell carriers with the ability to keep us connected smoother than our 3 SIM cards of major carriers. So far so good! We have not traveled yet but not excepting any thing less than a continued connection
