This high-performance POE injector enables you to convert your Starlink High-Performance Dish to run on DC power, eliminating the need for the Starlink AC Power Supply WITHOUT the need to cut your factory Starlink cable.
Optionally, you can elect to cut the cable to a custom length using the CAT-8 Tool-Less Termination Kit available in this listing.
Kit Includes:
- High Wattage POE Injector (accepts DC Input Voltage of 48-56v and outputs via POE at a max of 320W)
- CAT-8 RJ45 Shielded 1FT Patch Cable
- Wiring Instructions
Kit Requires:
- 48v-56v DC Power input. The unit will not function without either your own 48v DC power supply or the optional DC Step-Up Converter shown in the listing above.
- The optional Step-Up Converter requires a 30A fuse on a 12V input or a 15A fuse on a 24V input, when being used to power the Starlink HP dish. To ensure safe and efficient operation, it is essential to use properly sized input and output wires. The recommended wire size for a 12-24V input is typically 8-10 AWG, with a fused direct connection from the house battery. For longer wire runs, a larger gauge may be necessary to prevent voltage drop or overheating. It’s strongly advised to consult an electrician to determine the appropriate wire sizing for your specific DC power system.
Optional Accessories:
- Starlink to Ethernet Termination Kit: For added flexibility, you can elect to cut your Starlink cable and terminate it with our CAT-8 Tool-Less Termination Kit if you wish to shorten the length of your Starlink cable to accommodate your setup. The CAT-8 Termination Kit enables precise termination of the Starlink High-Performance cable using the provided ethernet termination components. This process eliminates the need for specialized termination tools, requiring only a quality pair of wire cutters/strippers for a seamless installation. NOTE: THE STARLINK CABLE USES CUSTOM COLORS. THE CORRECT COLOR PIN ORDER IS SHOWN IN THE LISTING PHOTOS.
UPDATE: We have upgraded our optional DC step-up converter to a 480W Step-Up Converter that now supports 12-48v input voltage. Customers had issues maintaining the minimum required voltage with sagging voltage levels as batteries drew down. As a result, we have upgraded the optional DC Step-Up Converter in this listing to a larger unit that is more forgiving as voltage drops during battery de-charge.
