Through extensive testing, BLU Technology has discovered a more optimal way to filter water through their TRIO water filtration systems. By swapping the "Tasty" filter with the "0.2 Micron" filter, they found that the entire filter set lasted significantly longer. The "Tasty" filter is rinsed during the pre-rinse startup process to wash away any charcoal particulates, which are then being filtered by the 0.2 micron filter in the current configuration. In the new configuration, the "Tasty" filter can be rinsed freely, which reduces wear on the system.
