Installation Considerations

As with any ethernet cable, the termination ends must be shielded from the elements with a weatherproof grommet of some kind. For harsh environment installations we recommend adding dielectric grease to the contact terminals before plugging into outdoor equipment before making your weatherproof seals. Dielectric grease is available at most hardware stores, Home Depot and Amazon.
