Description

The LTMG942 (4x LTE, 2x WiFi, GNSS) multiband antenna provides dual carrier MIMO Cellular LTE coverage as well as WiFi and GNSS coverage. GNSS operates on GPS, Galileo, Glonass, QZSS or Beidou at 1561, 1575, & 1602 MHz.
The antenna offers four separate Cellular elements, each covering 694-960 & 1710-3700 MHz. The elements can be paired so that there is 2x MIMO for each carrier. The LTMG942 (4x LTE, 2x WiFi, GNSS) also contains two WiFi elements for 2x MIMO coverage at 2.4-2.5 & 4.9-6.0 GHz.
Measuring 5.5″ (140 mm) in diameter with a low profile of 2.38″ (60.4 mm), the LTM-942 series antennas take up significantly less space than multiple antennas.

Optional 3-meter extension cables are available should additional length be required.
Note a metal roof or ground plane is required for proper functionality. More information below.

Ground Plan Required

This antenna requires a ground plane to be installed below the antenna if the antenna is mounted on a non-metal roof. Ground planes are metal sheets of metal (typically aluminum or galvanized steel) that the antenna mounts on top of. The ground plane does not need to be grounded or wired to the chassis ground of the vehicle, the metal sheet simply helps the cellular and WiFi signals bounces into the antenna optimizing performance. Ground planes are available in various sizes on our store including a flexible adhesive ground plane or a 16 inch aluminum ground plane. Being built with AT&T, in public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority, FirstNet utilizes Band-14, which is reserved for public safety but is also being marketed as available to the public for additional bandwidth capacity. In testing Band-14 has been made available during non-emergency situations to the public to provide additional bandwidth and coverages to customers who have a modem that supports FirstNet's Band-14.
