The Blu Tech MR2 is a self contained in-line water filtration system designed to connect between public or private water supplies and your RV, Vessel or VAN. The Blu Tech High Flow 0.2 Micron Filter uses a proprietary, patented, electroadsorptive media technology, capable of removing submicron pathogens and inorganic contaminants through electroadhesion and ion exchange.  The .2 micron electro adsorptive media is a breakthrough in water filtration technology allowing the filtration of lead, bacteria, volitile organic compounds (VOCs), microorganisms and more all while maintaining a high flow rate and ultra compact filter medium not previously possibly with traditional filter technology. 

The non-woven media produces filtration efficiency comparable to ultra membrane filtration (0.2 microns) with very low pressure drop, high flow rates and high load capacity, working equally well in fresh, brackish or sat waters. The Blu Tech filter media consists of coated micro-glass fibers produced using a wet laid, non-woven manufacturing technology. The base media is laminated between layers of spun-bond to provide both strength and pleat support.

The MR2 is a fully stainless steel water filtration system, including the frame, canisters, and quick connects. The stainless steel build makes the system both durable and portable. The Blu Tech MR2 is corrosion-resistant and able to withstand the elements in rain or shine! Stainless steel filter housing is more durable than plastic and ensures light is kept out to prevent bacterial or algae growth. The included quick-connect system utilizes stainless steel; high-quality quick connects that are drinking water safe and fully compatible with the full line of quick-connect accessories available.

Arrives with all filters pre-installed. Includes compact aluminum filter frame, filter housings, and all associated connections pre-installed. Includes quick connect inlet and outlet with standard garden hose attachment fittings. Additional information is located on the Documentation Tab. 

Trusted Filtration in Two Stages

The first filter is the patented 0.2 micron filter. The smaller micron size means greater protection - similar systems use less effective filters at 1 micron or larger.  This filter is focused on safety to create clean drinking water.

The second filter is a all about taste and smell. This filter uses activated carbon and coconut shell to improve the water's taste and smell factor. It has also been shown to remove small amounts of chlorine if present in the water.

Filters Already Installed

Water systems will come with your first set of filters already in the stainless steel canisters. The sediment pre-filter will be in the canister by the inlet, the "0.2 Micron High Flow Filter" will be in the middle canister, and the granular activated carbon and coconut shell "Tasty Filter" will be the canister by the outlet.

The Blu Tech "Off-Grid" Filter is 3rd party tested by IAPMO and certified to NSF/ANSI standards. IAPMO’s water efficiency and sanitation standard is an American national standard. Blu Technology filters are trusted in the industry, and come standard on RVs from some of the biggest manufacturers!
