It is designed for use only with the 30 Amp ‘generation 2’ WiFi units and not compatible with Gen 1 units.

Just what I wanted
I gave 4 stars because I will not know if it works until plugged in . I purchased this to have on hand if/when it's needed . Yes the surge protector has a warranty but I didn't want to be shut down waiting for a warranty replacement .
Shipping was fast and everything arrived intact. Surge Protector works as advertised and was easy to pair with my phone. Highly recommended!
