WiFi 6 technology is faster and performs better in crowded marinas and RV parks than previous generations. 4 onboard ethernet ports are available to support wired devices.

Qualcomm X62 Next Generation 5G

The X62 modems included in this device represent the latest generation 5G modems available for mobile routers. This includes support for 2-way carrier aggregation and higher peak theoretical speeds. Support for carrier aggregation between low and mid-band frequencies and the ability to combine cellular spectrums to improve speed, range and reliability. The ability to perform carrier aggregation on low-band and mid-band at the same time represents a huge leap forward in cellular performance, speed and connection reliabilty. The x62 supports AT&T's "Andromeda" mid-band spectrum which was not supported on previous models such as the X55.

Customizable to Your Needs

Two Embedded Cellular Modems

This mobile router is equipped with two embedded cellular modems. This will allow you to utilize two cellular connections at the same time, providing advanced traffic routing and load balancing capabilities as well as near-instant failover from one provider to another. Internet traffic can be routed in a variety of ways using Peplink's proprietary Outbound Policy Management Algorithms. Dual modem devices may be capable of utilizing SpeedFusion technology, also known as "WAN bonding", which may require separate licensing. See SpeedFusion section below.

Licensed for SpeedFusion

This device is licensed for SpeedFusion access. SpeedFusion is Peplink's proprietary WAN bonding solution that can bond multiple internet connections together into a single, more resilient connection for added connection reliability. SpeedFusion-capable devices create a VPN tunnel that allows multiple internet connections to act as a single connection. SpeedFusion supports WAN-Smoothing, a technology that helps to prevent packet loss which is typically the cause for unstable internet connections. In order to utilize SpeedFusion you must either host your own SpeedFusion instance at a secondary location/datacenter or use Peplink's SpeedFusion Cloud service which is available for an additional monthly subscription fee. This device includes data allotment for SpeedFusion cloud transfer at up to 100Mbps per second (amount of data will change based on the hardware). For more information on SpeedFusion and SpeedFusion Cloud, please reach out to us below.

Roof Antenna Recommended

This mobile router comes with indoor antennas that provide 3db of cellular gain. Upgrading to an optional roof antenna can provide significant signal improvement by moving the cellular antenna outside, at higher elevation and provide you the benefit of an antenna with higher gain specifications. Roof antennas can be added now with a bundle discount by checking out our Internet Bundle Section, or at a later date based on your needs.

Supports WiFi-as-WAN

This device supports WiFi-As-WAN, meaning you can pick up public WiFi signals from hotspots, campgrounds, and other sources to rebroadcast them into your coach and use them as your local internet. The wireless antennas included with this modem will pick up these signals and rebroadcast them locally within your own WiFi network.

*Using public WiFi may be unreliable due to external environmental forces typically outside of customer's control and as such public WiFi is recommended to be used as a secondary backup connection.

WiFi 6 Technology

WiFi 6 expands the WiFi band from 80 MHz to 160 MHz, doubling the channel width and creating a faster connection from your router to the device. With WiFi 6, you can enjoy 8K movies, large file downloads and uploads, and responsive smart home devices – all without buffering. WiFi 6 allows for speeds of up to 9.6 gigabits per second (Gbps), up from WiFi 5's 3.5 Gbps.

This means faster internal file transfers and less speed loss between the modem to your device.

FirstNet Ready

This device is FirstNet Ready! FirstNet is the nationwide public safety communications platform dedicated to America's first responders. Being built with AT&T, in public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority, FirstNet utilizes Band-14, which is reserved for public safety but is also being marketed as available to the public for additional bandwidth capacity. In testing Band-14 has been made available during non-emergency situations to the public to provide additional bandwidth and coverages to customers who have a modem that supports FirstNet's Band-14. Not all modems that support Band-14 are "FirstNet Certified" however they typically can connect to Band-14 in most areas. Information on FirstNet certifications can be found on Specification sheets located on the Documentation Tab. Additional information about FirstNet's use and technology can be found in this article from our friends at the RV Mobile Internet Resource Center.

Band 71 Ready

This device supports Band 71. Band 71 is T-Mobile's rural cellular band that operates on 600mhz which provides significant increases in coverage on the T-Mobile network for customers traveling outside of urban areas. 5G ready devices that support Band 71 typically also support Band 71n which is the 5G band for T-Mobile. Note that not all devices are 5G devices so check the listing above but with or without 5G you will still achieve increased coverage on the T-Mobile network with any device that supports Band 71. For more information about Band 71, check out the Band 71 Guide from our friends at the Mobile Internet Resource Center

Manage Devices Remotely with InControl2

InControl2 is Peplink's cloud-based endpoint management system. When connected to your devices, it aggregates data to generate useful reports on all aspects of your network. On a single screen, you can push configurations to any and all of your endpoints. If you need to dig deeper, you can remotely access the web admin of any device on your network.

For most MobileMustHave customers this features is not required, but it does allow your device to be accessible to you via the cloud.  This can be an advantage if you would like to remotely control your device, track your vehicles location (if GPS is enabled), and allow support access to remote in (when permission is granted).

InControl2 is included with all router purchases for 1-Year and is included with EssentialCare and PrimeCare Warranty Renewal Options.

Great solution and unmatched customer service!

This router is a beast! We use it on our boat and have four internet sources (Starlink, Tmobile Home Internet, and 2 different LTE carriers) for unbreakable connectivity when traveling. The BR2 is unbelievably flexible in how you set it up. Previously we used different SSIDs for regular traffic and Speed Fusion (bonded) traffic. However, now we use only one SSID for all traffic and use the rules within the BR2 to decide when to use Speed Fusion. This way, Speed Fusion kicks in automatically when we are using video conferencing (Webex, Zoom, etc.) without having to change networks. It's really amazing and flexible even for a relatively novice IT person.

More importantly, the customer service from MobileMustHave is unmatched in my opinion. I've had multiple products from them, and they have always been able to address my challenges. The video sessions are beyond helpful. The team literally logs into the router remotely and walks you through all the configuration options/changes needed to address the issue. I cannot say enough about MMH. Every dollar I have spent with them has been worth it!

Excellent channel bonding with Starlink and cellular

I use Starlink for bulk of the network traffic from our RV. This is important for any short duration dropouts from Starlink during a Microsoft Teams call. For streaming with Roku, created wifi AP for starlink only in addition to the APs for starlink+cellular bonded with SpeedFusion and guest. Very flexible configuration options. Mobilemusthave videos are super helpful and tech support helped for the selection of M100 cellular plan. Overall very happy with our purchase and support from MobileMustHave.

    Unbreakable connection

This was a huge upgrade from the the single modem Peplink router. That x62 modem is a beast, with two SIM cards on board, AT&T and T-Mobile I had non-stop service all the way through Texas and New Mexico and most of Colorado. Adding Starlink to the mix all connected through one device made everything so simple. I have it paired with a Parsec Great Pyrenees 8x8 and the reception is truly exceptional.

    Powerful

An amazing piece of equipment. Fantastic connectivity everywhere we go (so far). Easy to install and set up. Don't waste your time trying to "go direct" with a carrier. Just pick one of the MMH plans and save yourself the headache. I had to laugh when I went in to the dashboard to connect the PepLink to my home wifi. The setup was showing wifi signals from all over the neighborhood! Also, use a good roof mounted antenna for best performance. See MMH for that too!
