    Best Practice

    I didn’t see the option for router remote set up and device configuration when I was checking out to purchase the Peplink modem. One of the first emails I received from mobile must have pointed out that this service was available. I had begun researching at the process, and paying this reasonable sum of money to have the router set up properly the first time is a no-brainer. Having the router set up with best practices has led to a smooth experience in the real world use. It just works. And now the service team has my configuration information and can remote in to help if and when I happen to mess something up.

    Beyond router setup, they have excellent written and video tutorials to do other advanced setups, and offer webinars for realtime Q and A. Personally, I would pay for something similar to the router setup for other remote setups such as setting up and configuring mesh access points, optimizing parameters for Starlink antennas, setting up LAN as WAN, etc.

    Excellent Service

    I rarely say that I "enjoyed" a customer service experience - this is one of the rare situations! From my investigation of which product to purchase and the sales advice and process, the delivery and most recently the setup. The system used for setup is very technology heavy, meaning they leverage access and templates and at first I was nervous due to desiring a bit more personal touch. That DID happen, just after they made sure I had a good foundational setup on my router. My follow up call with Dave was impressive. His understanding of my system, my needs and my desires spoke to his deep understanding of how this works. He was patient and I truly considered it an educational time as well as great service! Highly recommend MMH! PS - my system is working smooth and great!

    Help with Setup

    Did things I would not have thought of.

    I seemed to get faster downloads and had control over selecting the two different cellular speeds: 2.5 and 5 G

    Never happened. Need separation of InControl from router. Don't know how. Router still unreliable.

    I tried to set up this router to get it online for the tech support to configure. They couldn't help me to get InControl separated from the router. As oif now I cannot log in to it as admin. Still need help, a lot of help BTW InControl from the iPhone is decided broken. It forces you to do too many things through it. Its really depressing here right now.

    Thanks for taking the time to provide us with some feedback on your experience with our Mobilecare service. Our support team has reached out to you via email to assist you with your problem, but they cannot remove you from InControl because you're not in our InControl group. Only the registered party can remove themselves from InControl, so you'll need to do that in order for us to complete your router setup. Please contact Peplink if you need assistance removing yourself from InControl. Once that is completed, notify our Support team (on your support ticket) so that they can complete your router setup.

    Above and beyond.

    Not only did MMH configure my router they worked with me to improve speed. I only wish I knew before I bought the Mini MAX BR1 router that using it with the Starlink Gen 3 greatly reduces the speed of Starlink.

    Unsettled

    Mobile remote router set up is the only way to go for us neophytes. If it wasn’t for this service I’d still be setting it up. Unfortunately there is not any cell service here so service was set up to a local 2.5 WiFi at this campground and when the WiFi is down the Pepwave is down.

    MMH Balance 20X setup

    Add an option to not restrict local changes by owner thru retaining Incontrol. Tested with setting timezone to CTS which then changed back to EST from Incontrol. Resolved by support to enable moving back to my userid on Incontrol. Change to CST then stayed.
